Time...

where did it go? Just yesterday I was bringing my Pooh home from the hospital. Putting her in her swing in front of the shaded patio window for a bit of sun because she was jaundiced. Wasn't it just yesterday? It really couldn't have been four years ago, could it? Wow! How can that be?

We made cupcakes on Tues. night so she could take them to preschool to share with her class. The story for the day was The Hungry Catepillar. He ate cupcakes. So you know I had to put some little gummy worms on top of each cupcake which were of course covered in green icing. The real party isn't until Sat. That's gonna be fun.

Pooh got a Leapster for her birthday. One of our friend's son has one. Once she saw his there was nothing else she wanted. So $90 later, she is a very happy camper. Now of course, Sunshine wants one too. But she also wants an expensive b'day party. Already told her she has to decide because she can't have both. Nonna and Poppa gave her a Barbie wedding dress. She loved it too.

Also, her daddy got to call her on her b'day which was the best present of all. She was so tired from all the festivities of the day, she was asleep by 10pm without a fuss.

What a happy day to have a healthy beautiful daughter. Thanks be to God.

Hugs and Kisses

OMG! Today I have given my girls so many hugs and kisses. This morning it was my Sunshine. Before I took her to school, we had time to give each other lots of love. I kissed her all over her face. Her reaction? "Oh, brother. Not all over the face." Then the sweetest giggles followed. When I looked into her eyes, my tummy did flips. What a sweet, beautiful little girl I have. Then there's Pooh... giving her hugs and kisses made me all warm inside. Giving her little tickle kisses produceded belly laughs from her. That is such a great sound. I so love my girls.

Hug your babies today. You never know what tomorrow may hold.

SNOW!!!!!!!

Thank you, Sally! My dear sweet friend Sally said she blew some snow from her way in Kansas down towards Alabama. It made it! Granted, not much, but still. The best part was that I had Baby Girl with me. To be able to witness the amazement in her eyes was truly incredible. So very glad I didn't miss it.

Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Not too much going on here. Woke up this morning feeling great. Just a little bit of coughing, not much. Then the girls were so easy to get up and ready for school. It was really great.

I've got to get pictures picked out, uploaded, and ordered for the Scrap Etc. Event next month. I am so incredibly excited. Monique announced the other day that Kah-Mei, owner of Fontwerks, will be attending. Meeting her is going to be probably the highlight of the whole thing for me. She is just so great!!! I'm also going to be begging her to make a particular set of stamps that I have in my mind that I really want. LOL! Let's see if my beggin works with her as well as it does with Monique. LOL!

Slacking...

Slacking in the blogging department that is. This has been on the back burner because of sickness. Girls were sick for 2wks, then I've been sick for the last week and a half. Crazy. I've had lots to say and will get back on here expressing my views as usual soon.

I can't believe my baby is about to turn four. She is getting to be such a big girl. Yesterday she rode her big girl bike by herself. Granted she still has the training wheels on, but she was able to touch the pedals! Pop even had to raise her seat up. Amazing that just a few months ago she couldn't reach the pedals with the seat at the lowest position. lol. The child was even steering and turning on her own. I'm such a very proud momma.

I've also been trying to get ready for the Scrap Etc. 2007 Event. There are so many hot, exciting sponsors that have been added. Plus all the extra stuff Monique has planned is amazing. I still can't believe I am going. It is like a dream that I'm afraid to wake up from. LOL.

Well, lots of catching up to do. Take care everyone. I'll be back soon.

Quickly...

If any of you were considering going to the Scrap Etc. 2007 Event, I wouldn't wait too long. coughcoughJodycoughcough. Spaces are filling up quickly. There are some very hot sponsors lined up. The classes will include design, photography, organization, plus a ton of other scrapbooking related topics. In addition to all that some of the teachers are bringing stuff that the attendees will get before/close to the time they hit the shelves in the stores. This is not an extra cost. It is part of the Event ticket price.

In addition, Stacey Julian will be giving a class on Big Picture Scrapbooking(one of the Event sponsors). If you take this class and finish the project, you will receive a ticket. This ticket is to be used to get into a special party with her.

This Event is not one to be missed. Some who have attended Creative Escape and CKU say that this rivals them. Monique McLean, the brains and heart behind the Event, is pure creative genius!
