Do you ever get tired of...

living? You know that life is just too tiresome and you're ready to go "home." I'll admit it. I do. Things in life just sometimes get too exhausting, and I have no control over them. The other day I was feeling this way. It seemed everything that could go wrong did. I was laying on my bed talking with God asking Him my usual question,"Why?" Then I looked up and saw hanging on my inspiration board the paper cross my girls had made me. Then the response to my usual question came..."Go read."

So I went and picked up my Bible. Sure enough I simply opened it and the answers came to me where I opened. I read from Matthew 16:20 until I was interrupted around 18:35. It tells of how Jesus had to struggle, work, and forgiveness. It really put my problems into perspective. I do not have the weight of the world upon my shoulders as Jesus did. I do not have people hunting me down to kill me because they don't like what I have to say. I have simple, some not so simple, problems that can only be resolved with the help of God.

I normally don't ask people to pray for me because I feel it would be selfish when so many others need them, but I am asking you today to add my family in your prayers. I have seen first hand how powerful prayer can be. And here is the proof that Jesus said it would be so; in Matthew 18:19-20 Jesus said toHis disciples, "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

God bless you all today.

You got it, Mary. And yes, I think we all have those days when things seem very very dark. And that's where your friends come in, to help lift you up until you can do it yourself.

Mary, never feel selfish for asking for prayers. As everyone has said..that's what friends are for. We all need someone to pray for us! You and your family are always in my prayers. And always remember that through the good times and the bad times our Heavenly Father has promised to never give us more than we can handle, and that He will never leave us or forsake us. There is a purpose for everything that comes into our lives..sometimes we just don't always see it. Sometimes it is to direct us back to God..sometimes to use us as an example for others..sometimes it's just life. But enough of my rambling. You are loved more dearly than you will ever know..by your friends and family..and mostly by God. Hang in there sweetie!

Hey Mary...Thinking about you right now and hope that you find the peace that you need in order to focus on your needs. Let me know if there's anything I can do...prayers--of course, but anything else, too.
